The spacious upper-floor open-plan unit is one of our most beautiful luxury apartments in Buenos Aires for rent. Notably, the suite includes a 100-square-foot (9 m2) outdoor private balcony offset from the bedroom. Unique mosaic tiles made by a local artisan line the floor of the terrace. Also, there is seating for four with a wrought iron table and several planters. Such meticulous attention to detail is not common for apartment rentals in Recoleta, Buenos Aires.
The open style American kitchen is fully equipped. Furthermore, it comes with a small bar top and seating for two. The living room has two retro-style sitting chairs. There is also a pull-out couch that can be used as a double bed. Nearly all of our apartment rentals at the Poetry Building have sofa beds for additional guests.
Additionally, the modern bathroom receives natural light through a column of glass bricks. Moreover, the room displays an over-sized circular Raul Vidal designer mirror. Different pieces of Vidal’s works can be found in all of our luxury apartments in Buenos Aires for rent.
The spacious sleeping area is complete with a queen size bed. There are also two marble top antique bedside tables. A large floor-to-ceiling double-paned glass doors open onto the terrace.
Moreover, light pours into the suite through two distinct glass brick columns on the south wall of the apartment. Of note, this is an important feature found in all of our apartment rentals in Recoleta, Buenos Aires.
High ceilings plus artworks by Argentine artists Pablo Zel and C. Basavilbaso conclude this simple but stylish studio.
All 17 of the BA rentals in the Poetry Building have wonderful amenities. These include Bluetooth speakers, and Apple TVs with our vast media library. The units also have unlimited access to our facilities and services. These include a dipping pool, organic garden, and concierge staff. Year-round, guests can enjoy the sundeck with dipping pool and honor bar. Also, Ellie’s Garden is always available. We actively grow organic vegetables on our rooftop, which visitors often use to cook in their apartment kitchens. Lastly, guests have our on-site concierge staff at their disposal. Home away from home!
This place is amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you may need. Or with any questions, you may have. Moreover, the room felt like home to us. We stayed in a studio apartment with a little balcony facing the street. The kitchen had everything we needed. This allowed us to have a couple of meals inside. Also, the bed and furniture were very comfortable. The decor is a mix of modern and antique.
Moreover, the location was perfect for checking out the sights. It was also ideal for going out to restaurants and bars. Also, there was a rooftop pool with lounge chairs for laying out in the sun. Furthermore, on the top floor, there is an elaborate garden to pick your vegetables/fruits that are in season. My husband and I loved everything about the Poetry Building. We will surely stay here again the next time we visit Buenos Aires!
Dream Apartment in the Best Location
We so much enjoyed our stay. This historic building has been recently remodeled from top to bottom. Moreover, our 4th-floor apartment was just steps away from the outdoor pool and close to the rooftop organic garden. You can harvest a seasonal salad, fruits or vegetables to supplement your meal if cooking inside. There are only two units on the 4th floor, 4A our studio and 4B a one-bedroom. The outdoor terrace for the apartment is on the street side. It is high enough and well-shielded from any sounds. We stayed a week and did not have any noise issues.
The staff here are entirely English proficient and provide excellent attention and help. Additionally, the location of the Poetry Building is excellent. It’s in Recoleta and about five blocks from the cemetery and well-placed for walking to restaurants and local entertainment. Poetry was a great start to our six weeks in Argentina and Chile.
Great small hotel in Buenos Aires
Excellent small hotel in a lovely neighborhood close to the city center and attractions. There is superb customer service. The hotel staff replied to all my emails, booked all requested activities, helped with currency exchange and restaurant recommendations. The apartment where we strayed (4A) had a nice balcony, where we had breakfast and fully equipped kitchen. Also, the organic garden is very nice: tomatoes from there were delicious.
