Loft 2A
[vc_row row_padding_top=”padding_top_none” row_padding_bottom=”padding_bottom_none”][vc_column][vc_column_text]This unit is one of our four spacious LOFT CATEGORY luxury apartments in Buenos Aires at the Poetry Building that will be appointed to you. The suite features 15-foot tall exposed brick ceilings. This characteristic dates back to the building’s origin, over one hundred years ago. Additionally, full-length French windows are on each side of the unit. The window-doors overlook the street at the front of the building. Natural light enters the living space through triple pane glass. This protection, rare in Recoleta apartment rentals, successfully acts as soundproofing. Adjacent to the living space there is a balcony containing a two-person table and chairs to enjoy a street view.
Moreover, the main floor provides an ample and open living space with a pull-out sofa with a full-sized mattress. Further, there are two side tables on each side of the couch. Also, there is a single pull-out bed chair and two large sofa chairs.
Also, as one enters the apartment, there is a long travertine marble bar counter. All of our luxury apartments in Buenos Aires come with this level of excellent finishing. This top provides dining capacity for up to four people. Opposite the entry is a complete open American style galley kitchen with all the desired amenities.
Furthermore, on the ground floor of the unit is a large modern bathroom. It comes with a large open shower and a specially designed mirror. Also, a Louis XV chandelier hangs from the ceiling.
Climbing the iron and wooden staircase is the exposed bedroom loft. There are a king-sized bed and two antique bedside tables. Additionally, there is a closet and a flat screen TV sitting on a custom shelving unit.
Contemporary art by Argentine artists Dante and C. Basavilbaso complete this unique apartment.
Each one of our 17 Recoleta apartment rentals in Poetry is unique but they all come with the same handpicked amenities. For example, all guests of the building have access to our on-site and bilingual concierge service. Our staff will be happy to help with reservations upon request. These include restaurants, tours, estancia days, soccer matches, and any other activities in the area. Additionally, we welcome guests to enjoy our sundeck and dipping pool with honor bar. Lastly, we encourage the use of Ellie’s Garden, which is one of the city’s only organic vegetable gardens.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row color_set=”white_section” row_padding_top=”padding_top_none” row_padding_bottom=”padding_bottom_1-4″][vc_column boxed=”boxed_plus”]
Elegance, comfort and kindness
Our two kids, my wife and I spent a week at the Poetry Building. We loved every minute of it.
It begins with the environment of Recoleta. Specifically, it is central to anything you wish to discover and enjoy in Buenos Aires. This includes by foot or quick taxi ride.
Also, it continues with the building itself. For example, all the charm of an early XXth century mansion in which the owner designed generous living space. It includes the room itself (we had 4B.) The apartment is bathed in sunlight, quiet, and roomy enough for four. In addition, it has all the amenities that make you feel home. Truthfully, many other rooms were tempting.
Perhaps an even higher point was the kindness of everyone we met. Specifically, it was the help/time granted to us to made this first stay in Argentina a great memory. This included the ballet school Brent, the owner, kindly found for our daughter. Also, the exchanges and advice we had with Irina, Ken or Rocio. All of whom spoke perfect English. We needed to compensate for our low mastery of Spanish.
The place deserves its name and reputation, which this review only adds to. Many thanks again, Francois.
French Elegance in Recoleta
This apartment is a cozy and chic. Conveniently located, expertly decorated, comfortable and elegant. European sophistication with modern elegance is everywhere.
Also, the on-site concierges was fabulous. They helped with taxis, figured out the best order for a series of events or tours. Further, this included directions to the grocery store. They had a solution for every problem or question I presented that worked out well. In addition, the concierge staff are all fluent in English and eager to help you get the most from your Buenos Aires stay. For example, this trip was my first South American trip so this was very helpful.
This trip was a combination business vacation trip, so location was key. Total stay was eight days. At the end of the visit, I realized the Poetry Building is listed in a book of bests in South America. They definitely deserve it.
Outstanding service, value and location
Second stay at Poetry. Again, thoroughly impressed. Seems as new as it was when I last visited over two years ago. The junior loft apartments are spacious, contemporary, light, and quiet. They are also comfortable and well fitted out with stylish artwork and quality amenities. The service is above par. For instance, the staff is friendly and personable. They provide quality / prompt advice. Also, the level of cleanliness is excellent. Check-in/out is seamless. Management even arranged, within a matter of minutes a special request. The maintenance man came to my apartment to cut a PVC tube with a hacksaw. I used it to transport art I had purchased. Nothing is too much bother. For example, this detail is what differentiates Poetry from typical apartment rentals. Other guests are pretty much who you’d expect would be staying at Poetry.
