The superb loft rental apartment can be found on the street-side of the Poetry Building. It has 15-foot tall ceilings of exposed brick. The untouched roof dates back to the building’s original construction which is extremely rare in BA apartments.
Also, adjacent to the living and dining area, there are doors which open onto a small balcony. The open-air space overlooks the inner courtyard with the water fountain. It comes with an antique cast iron table and chairs for two.
Furthermore, a comfortable sofa with a full-size pull-out mattress resides in the living area. Two vintage re-upholstered armchairs accompany it. Moreover, a hand-woven rug from the Northern province of Salta covers the floor underneath a marble coffee table. Also, a massive Louis XVI cut glass chandelier, done by local artisan Claudio Albornoz, is hanging from the ceiling. Lastly, an antique British liquor cabinet adorns the entrance way.
Adjacent to the living room there is a fully equipped large open American style kitchen. A reclaimed antique carpenter’s bench separates the kitchen area from the living space. The table top is customized and inlaid with a marble top which creates a perfect eating area. There are also bar stools for four people. These types of unique features are standard in all of our luxury apartments for rent in Recoleta.
A tailored frosted glass room divider creates unique shelving space for the living area. Additionally, on the reverse side, it is a closet for the bedroom. This piece nicely creates privacy for the sleeping area.
The main bedroom area has a custom four-post king sized bed. Also, there are two marble-topped Louis XV bedside tables, a clothes dresser, and a circular ottoman. Adorning the walls, the building’s original plaster moldings create a beautiful heritage feel to this bedroom. Lastly, a full-length oval dressing mirror completes the room.
Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bathroom with a large shower stall, an over-sized hand-carved Raul Vidal wall mirror and modern fixtures typical of our BA apartments.
Furthermore, there is an iron and wood staircase that leads to the upstairs loft, which serves as the secondary sleeping area. This is an open space with a built-in sleeper couch for watching television, and a vintage steel working desk and chair. Also, there is an antique British “Odeon” record player which doubles as a television stand. A scatter rug from the Northern province of Salta graces the polished concrete floor of this area.
All of our luxury apartments for rent in Recoleta inside the Poetry Building have Apple TV. They grant access to our media library which contains thousands of new and old movies and television series. Also, guests can make use of the on-site concierge staff. They can help with any reservations upon request. These include bookings for restaurants and city activities such as tango shows or soccer matches. Moreover, all of our rental apartments have access to our sundeck with dipping pool and honor bar. Stylish and elegant!
We spent one week at the Poetry Building at the apartment 1B. It passed by in a blink of an eye. We think it was an ideal place for us to stay. Recently renovated, it is with a good sense of style and elegance. Moreover, it had just the right proportion of antique and modern elements. Nice touches are everywhere. The subtle fragrance of live flowers and a bottle of Malbec welcomed us. Also, there was a box of Patagonian chocolates. There were a comfortable king size bed and modern bathroom in the spacious loft. It has a TV and a sofa-bed. Kitchen sufficient enough to make a good dinner made us feel like home. Hardwood floor in a spacious room was essential because it allowed us to practice tango. Even more, we also invited friends and tango teachers over.
The staff was excellent, warm and friendly, every one of them. They offered us an excellent choice of activities including famous tango shows and milongas and always were an excellent source of information. Beautiful location in Recoleta made our stay comfortable, pleasant and safe.
In conclusion, we will be back and won’t look for another place to stay.

Stayed in 1B at Poetry Building and could not be happier with it. This place has everything. It’s absolutely beautiful from the architecture to the decor. Also, you can’t beat the amenities or location. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an apartment stay in Buenos Aires!
Time after time … and still the best!
There is never any doubt where we will stay each time we return to BA. The Poetry Building has become our home away from home. On our fourth stay, we chose a loft as the fall weather is not conducive to sitting on your balcony. The apartment is spectacular. It has high ceilings and is very spacious. It features a cozy and comfortable loft equipped with an excellent entertainment system. Also, the floor to ceiling French doors provide excellent ventilation and light. And they lend a very Parisian feel to the apartment.
Fresh flowers and a bottle of wine welcomed us, adding to the intimate and romantic ambiance. The bedroom has a beautiful four poster king size bed. It is just the right firmness and with excellent quality linens and pillows. Also, the double French doors to the street ensure quietness. The luxurious draperies keep the light out at night. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a full-size fridge if you intend to eat inside. Besides, the Disco grocery store is just around the corner.
Even better there are excellent pasta, wine, and cheese stores just a short walk away. Also, the Gout Café at the corner is excellent in the morning. Do not miss the Nueva Capital bakery two doors down the street. The chocolate covered churros with dulce the leche filling are sinfully irresistible. Also, they prepare excellent sandwiches for takeout. The neighborhood is very safe and close to most attractions, so walking is a pleasure.
The Poetry Building is one of the main reasons we enjoy BA so much. The apartments are charming, impeccably clean and so conveniently located. Everyone on the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to assist. We are already planning our next visit!
