THE place to stay if you’re spending time in BA
The rooms are beautiful, large and clean. It is a gorgeous building in the prime location of Recoleta in Buenos Aires. There is a roof deck with a plunge pool. On the building next door, they project a movie at night. Meanwhile, you can sit and enjoy a bottle of wine. Sounds great right? It is great, but that’s not why I’m recommending the Poetry Building.
I’m recommending the Poetry Building because of the staff. They are friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned that you are safe and well taken care of during your stay in BA.
Fantastic Experience
We spent three nights in Buenos Aires and loved our stay at the Poetry building. The neighborhood was ideal for exploring, tourist attractions, and dining. The staff made dinner reservations for us at our request, and we loved every restaurant they picked. They were always available for anything we needed, and each staff member had a unique and charming personality!
The building is old and full of charm. The decor is an eclectic mix of modern and antique. The apartment had everything we needed, and it was great to “come home.” The size of our flat was perfect for three, and we loved the look and feel of the place. The building was very secure. Overall a wonderful experience.
A Gem in Buenos Aires
From first to last, our experience at the Poetry Building was all we had hoped and more. The staff gave us a warm welcome. Everyone was happy to make suggestions and help with logistics for everything from polo to tango, restaurants, and transportation. Our studio with a patio was tastefully furnished and comfortable. We bought breakfast things at the bakery down the block. There was also coffee and tea in the fully equipped kitchen. The common areas, including a rooftop garden and pool, were excellent for lounging. We felt at home and pampered at the same time. We hope to return to Poetry soon!
