Outstanding place to stay in all respects
The staff is incredible. The front of the house (they rotate) are fantastic. They will organize restaurant bookings, recommend places to shop if you are after something, in particular, a deep with transport to and from the airports. They also exchange US currency for pesos at a reasonable rate. The unit has to be one of the best apartments we have ever stayed. Recoleta is quiet and close to shopping. We walked almost everywhere, but taxis go past the building all the time. Fantastic place to stay and we will be recommending it to anyone coming to Buenos Aires.
A Real Surprise
We read the reviews made our choice and even so were knocked out by this place. Our room 1D was far larger than we expected with a kitchen area and sizeable bathroom.
Thanks to all of the staff.
Fantastic service and a great location!
What a find! We chose this location based on reviews and were very impressed. This renovated historic building features private studio apartments, which have lots of room, are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of many sights of Buenos Aires, including the Recoleta Cemetery, Plaza Francia, Teatro Colon, el Centro Viejo y Puerto Madero. And there are restaurants and cafes galore within a few blocks so if you don’t want to use the kitchenette; there are lots of options.
But the best part of this hotel is the service. Even before we arrived, the staff sent us a list of their favorite things to do and see in the city and offered to book any tours or activities for us, at no charge. Rocio greeted us when we arrived with a tour of the building facilities and our room. They provided a free bottle of wine in the room on our arrival and a pay and talk cell phone that we could put money on if we didn’t want to use our own cell phones. And if we had any questions, they were there for us.
